About us

Our Motivations

Many children in my neighborhood are at home. Although their are old enough to go to school. Very young children are exploited for petty trading and thus exposed to prostitution. Some get into marriage early, give birth even with risk. They have no follow-up in their families. As a mum and teacher i could not just close my eyes to these realities, so I turned my house into a school. It can only accommodate fifty students. We are very available to welcome you whenever you will like to visit us and learn more about us.

Our Vision

We are hoping to give opportinuty to all Children(all ages, from all day-nursery, from nursery, and those from primary school) in Foumban to go to school, to have a better future, to experience another kind of childhood.

Therefore the needs are multiple:

  • We are planning to have a Library with more educational materials to help the children easily (Fourniture in Englisch and French). The Fourniture we are Planning to get are for the Children between 4-6 years old (for the Nursery) and the Children between 7-15 years Old(for the Primary school).
  • We also want our Children to have the Opportinuties to play in our school with educational toys.
  • We are almost planning to have a little Computer Pool for our Children, when they have ICT course in program.
  • We also plan how to equip the toilet for the Children.
  • We are also planning to equip the playground with many opportinuties for the Children to have real fun together with other Kids.
  • We would like also to have better Drinking Water open to all our Children and their Family, because in this City people lack good Water quality.
  • Because many Children also lack Medication because of Poverty, we also thing to have in our school a small Office for First-Aid Medication when the Children are sick or have an injury.
  • We also would like to always have a Kitchen with the necessary to cook some food for the those Children who famished.
  • Foumban is a City where population encouter many difficulties to have permanent/stable Light, and we would really lie to have some solution with a stable Light at least during our class.
  • We are also planning to have two buildings which will allow us to go to the primary cycle.

My name is Elisabeth Nayi. I grew up with seven other brethren. I am widow with 3 Daughter almost mature. I always have taken care of my Children and also niece, nephew whenever i saw such a need in a Child, today i also take care very voluntary of my grandchildren; In my progression, i always have something to do with Children

  • 1980-1981: In Yaoundé, training at the teacher training college, as teacher:
  • 1981-1982: nursery school messa
  • 1982 -1989: nursery school mobile gendarmerie
  • 1989-1990: Ngaoundere – tongo kindergarten
  • 1990-1996: director of the sabongari kindergarten 2.
  • 1996-2001: nursery school of Bové camp.
  • 2001 -2002: Departmental delegation of the national education of mfoundi (accounting office materials)
  • 2004-2005: Trained as a subject accountant and held three positions at the library.
  • 2002 2008: Library of the bilingual school of application.
  • 2008-2018: librarian at Foumban Technical High School.
  • 20.05.2015: Knight of the order of the merits Cameroonians
  • September 2018: i Created the Colombelles nursery school to take full care of the children myself at the end of my career in December 2019.
